Maravalli kizhangu adai with just rice and tapioca as main ingredients.
Adding spices gives more taste and flavor to this wonderful breakfast dish.
Kuchi kizhangu Dhosai Ingredients:
Idli rice 2 cup
Chopped tapioca 2.5 cups
Red chillies 4
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Onion 2
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Asefoetida – 1 pinch
Salt for taste.

Step by step recipe of Kuchi kizhangu Dhosai :
Wash and Soak the idly rice for minimum 4 hrs.
Drain the soaked rice and grind it with little water.
Peel and chop the tapioca (kuchikizhangu) into small cubes.
Grind it with rice.
Once the batter becomes coarse paste add red chilli, pepper, cumin seeds into the grinder.
You can grind coarsely or smooth.
Now transfer the batter to a bowl and add salt, asefoetida, finely chopped onion and curry leaves and mix well.
The batter consistency should be thick like adai batter.
You can prepare dhosai right immediately you prepare the batter. It need not be fermented
Heat a tawa and drizzle with oil. Spread a ladle full of batter and cook in medium flame. Flip the dhosa and cook until it becomes golden brown.
Aromatic kongu special kuchikilangu dhosai is ready to serve.
